The folks at General Mills decided it would be fun to have some bloggers see what yummy mix-in ideas food bloggers could create with their FiberOne line of cereals.  I am excited to share my three FiberOne mix-ins with you all!  It was fun (and delicious!) to experiment, and I hope you all get some ideas for how to make your snacks or cereal special.

Mix-Ins

As a part of this competition, I got the chance to try three cereals from FiberOne that I’ve never tried before: Honey Squares, Chocolate Squares, and Nutty Clusters and Almonds.  Being that you all know I love granola, it’s probably no surprise that the Nutty Clusters and Almonds (with the little granola clusters) was definitely my favorite!

I think all three mix-ins make a great, quick snack.  You can easily scale up these recipes to make more than one serving.  Also, feel free to experiment with the amounts if you like more (or less) of a certain mix-in.

S'mores Mix

3/4 cup FiberOne 80-calorie Honey Squares
10 miniature marshmallows
1 to 2 tablespoons chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk)

Mix together in a small bowl, and enjoy!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Crunch

6 pretzel sticks, broken in thirds or fourths
1 to 2 tablespoons peanut butter chips

Mix together in a small bowl, and enjoy!

1 tablespoon raisins
1 tablespoon dried cranberries
1 tablespoon cashew halves & pieces
