Simple Teriyaki Chicken is so easy and quick, it’s barely even a recipe! However, I wanted to share this super simple way to prepare chicken with you all. We love to eat it over rice, but it would also be excellent on a salad or even in sushi! The chicken cooks in less than 15 minutes, and with the use of a sheet of foil, cleanup is a breeze.

I have come to love recipes that can be made in the slow cooker. I love being able to throw everything together in the morning and come home in the evening to a meal that’s ready to go! Some meals, such as this one, don’t require quite as long to cook. If the recipe only needs to cook 4 or 6 hours, I mix it up and ask my husband to put it in the slow cooker and turn it on at lunch! Sweet & Sour Chicken is an excellent addition to your list of slow-cooked dinners!

I invented this recipe many years ago… when I was in high school. I loved eating crab rangoon at Asian restaurants, and of course there were none of those in my hometown of under 1,000. Like a lot of recipes I come up with, this one was invented out of necessity. And it was awesome. Thus, I christened it: Alicia’s Awesome Crab Rangoon. I’ve matured (slightly) since then, so I considered re-naming them, but the fact of the matter remains… they’re still awesome.
I’ve only tweaked it a little here and there, and it just gets better every time.

This is a great dish for summer, when green beans are at their peak. It’s also perfect because you don’t have to use the oven and heat up the kitchen.
