Weekly Menu Plan, Mar 4 – Mar 10

If you have been following my menu plans the last few weeks (or perhaps months now!), you’ve probably noticed that I have not been sticking to the menu plan as… well… planned.  Despite this minor detail, I still feel that I am far ahead of where I would be without menu planning.  I am much less stressed about what to prepare for dinner when I come home from work.  I have made far less “surprise” trips to the grocery store, and our grocery budget has shrunken.  I also find that I am using more of the food I’ve already bought, and less food is going to waste.  All-in-all, menu planning, especially with the accountability of sharing with you all, has gone over quite well!

This week, we’re going to FINALLY have German Pizza and Stuffed Shells!  We didn’t eat out in place of any of the meals last week, they were just replaced.  One night we made a meal of freshly steamed artichokes (something my husband had been craving), and the other we were invited over to dine with friends.  I also whipped up some guacamole for my husband to take to a “Man Night”, and instead of eating out with my family we made tacos!

Dinners
German Pizza (recipe to come…)
Stuffed Shells
Fried Rice (maybe with some egg drop soup, both homemade)
Shrimp Scampi
White Bean Chicken Chili
Freezer Meal
Dinner at my cousin’s wedding
