Jack O’ Lantern Cheese Ball

I love having festive foods at get-togethers!  Cheese and crackers are a classic appetizer.  This cheddar cheese ball is dressed up with bright orange cheese crackers, and can even be decorated to look like a jack o’ lantern for Halloween.  For Thanksgiving or other fall get-togethers, you can leave off the black olives, and just have a festive pumpkin at your appetizer table.

A jack o’ lantern cheese ball is sure to make your guests (or your hosts!) smile!

Make sure that the cream cheese is room temperature, so it is easy to stir.  Add all of the ingredients except the crackers to the cream cheese and mix well.

Before serving, roll the cheese ball in the crushed cheese crackers.  Stick the celery stalk in the top for the stem.

If you want the jack o’ lantern look, slice up a few black olives into circles and triangles.  Get creative and enjoy!
