Weekly Menu Plan, June 30 – July 6

Are you looking forward to a big Independence Day get-together?  The 4th of July has always been one of my personal favorites!  Growing up, we would spend every 4th of July with two other families, and we would always have lots of food and of course tons of fun!  We would jokingly ask the dads (who were the official firework lighters) about what the next firework would do… “Emits showers of sparks!” they would read from the label 🙂

I’m keeping it simple around the kitchen this week, as we’re trying to get a lot of work done on the house with the cooler weather.  Cooking new things isn’t a top priority this week, but I have a feeling there will be plenty of recipe testing in the near future!

Dinners
Tacos, chips & salsa
Bean & Cheese Burritos, corn, lettuce salad
Turkey sandwiches, peas
Cheesy Beans & Rice (no-oven version!)
Independence Day Barbecue (we are grilling the meats)!
Leftovers/Dinner out (x2)

What’s on your menu plan this week?
