Weekly Menu Plan, Mar 30 – Apr 5

I was able to make both of the new recipes for us last week. We really enjoyed the Korean BBQ recipe, and the chicken was OK (I used honey instead in case you were wondering 😉 ).  I will probably double the Korean BBQ recipe the next time I make it so that we have more leftovers.

This week shouldn’t be quite as busy for us, but we are still adjusting to a new schedule.  I’m so happy to let you all know that my husband is starting a new full-time job this week!  He’s been working from home and staying with our kids during the day for the last four years.  It’s been wonderful, but now that the kids are getting older, we are ready for a new chapter in our lives.  Last week, he had a short (one week!) contract job, so it was a good transition for us with getting used to a new schedule and all.

I’m feeling the need for some Asian/spicy food lately, so I’m loading up the menu with all kinds of those yummy things.  Three more new recipes to try, and I hope for more good reviews!

Dinners
Crab Rangoon, Soba Noodles with Ginger Scallion Sauce
Honey & Spice Baked Chicken (new recipe to us), green beans
